Enrollment Requirements

St. Gregory is a K - 8 Elementary Parish School that is part of the San Francisco Archdiocesan school system. St. Gregory School admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin. The School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national, ethnic origin or disabilities in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, athletic and other school administered programs.

Acceptance Priority of Applicants Is Based on The Following Criteria:

  • Children of St. Gregory School
  • Children of St. Gregory parish families
  • Children of neighboring parish families
  • Children of non-Catholic families

Consideration is given to the child’s academic and personal development as indicated by assessments, personal interviews and recommendations from preschool/school. Enrollment is limited to 36 students per class. Vacancies are filled according to the listed criteria. Those students who meet the criteria for acceptance, but for whom we have no available space, will be placed on a waiting list.

" Parish Family " is defined as one where at least one parent is Catholic and the family is formally registered in the Parish, regularly participates in liturgical worship with the parish community, and contributes regularly to the support of the parish (not merely financial but also support of parish activities and parish ministries).
