St. Gregory School perpetuates a strong sense of Catholic service in the local and neighboring communities. We strive to educate the whole child in an atmosphere of faith and of commitment to serving others. Our goal is to help each student become a faith-filled steward.
Students in all grades participate in community service projects. Student Council coordinates opportunities for students to make a difference in the lives of others. A few of these opportunities include collection of sports equipment for children in the La Puente community, a costume and toy drive for Samaritan House, and a canned food drive for St. Vincent de Paul. Student Council also collects money during the Lenten season to help the missionaries.
Seventh and eighth grade students help serve the community by fulfilling a service hour commitment for both the school and Confirmation preparation. Groups of students in the eighth grade also take time out of their day to go to St. Vincent de Paul to help out in the kitchen.
